Kyle Busch to join Kenseth, Stewart at MIS event
The trio will compete in the All-Star Challenge, which is being promoted by Roy Kenseth, Matt's father.
"I'm looking forward to it," Busch said Sunday after driving in the ECHO Chainsaw 100 ASA Midwest Tour event. "I think it will be a great race. I am looking forward to coming out and having fun with Matt and Tony."
Kenseth won last year's race at MIS, outdueling Stewart and a host of local drivers.
"I meant to be up here last year, but I didn't have a car ready," Busch said. "This year we got our stable built up a little bit."
The addition of Busch, who leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings, ends the suspense Roy Kenseth created earlier this year when he promised a third entry from the highest level of stock car racing.
"He is the hottest driver going right now and will be a great addition to the event," Roy Kenseth said of Busch.
The rain date is June 25.
