Auto racing: No repeat for Kenseth
The three big-name drivers in Tuesday's Miller Lite Nationals at Slinger Super Speedway all fell out before the midpoint with mechanical issues, paving the way for Lowell Bennett to become just the third four-time winner in the history of the event.
Defending champion Matt Kenseth, the former NASCAR Cup champion from Cambridge, was running in the seventh position when he was forced to exit just 33 laps into the 250-lap feature after losing all his oil.
Fellow NASCAR standout Kyle Busch, the fast qualifier, was running second before being sidelined by three flat tires soon after Matt Kenseth was bounced.
Legendary Wisconsin driver Dick Trickle -- who also has won the race four times -- was within range of the lead before leaving with mechanical issues on lap 106.
Kyle Busch and Trickle will race Friday at Madison International Speedway in the ASA Midwest Nationals along with notables Rich Bickle, Johnny Sauter, Tim Sauter and Ron Hornaday. For information, visit
